Overview

The series follows Eleanor Shellstrop (Kristen Bell), a selfish, rude, and unethical woman who dies and wakes up in "The Good Place," a utopian afterlife for good people. She is told that she is there by mistake. She tries to hide her past and become a better person. The first season is a hilarious, clever, and thought-provoking comedy. The first season is famous for its twist ending: they are actually in The Bad Place.
