Overview
Doom Patrol Season 1 is the first season of DC Universe's superhero series, based on the DC Comics superhero team of the same name. The series follows a group of misfit superheroes who have been traumatized by their pasts. The team includes: Cliff Steele / Robotman (Brendan Fraser), a former race car driver whose brain is in a robot body; Larry Trainor / Negative Man (Matt Bomer), a pilot who is host to a negative energy being; Rita Farr / Elasti-Woman (April Bowlby), a former actress who can change her size; Jane / Crazy Jane (Diane Guerrero), a woman with 64 personalities, each with a different superpower; and Victor Stone / Cyborg (Joivan Wade), a teenager with advanced technology built into his body. The first season is a surreal, bizarre, and deeply emotional exploration of trauma, identity, and found family.
